The next day, hundreds of other UCLA students marched through campus, joining a national Day of Resistance in support of Palestinians who have lost land, homes, freedom and lives during Israel’s decades-long occupation of their historical homeland. They shared feelings of grief and seething anger over the massacre of more than 1,300 in Israel, many of them women and children, by Hamas militants.
